Continuing to Pray

Good Evening Friends and Family, 

I hope all of you had a great Labor Day weekend. We want to share a quick update since our last post. 

We submitted our paperwork on our due date last Wednesday. Unfortunately, the additional supporting documents we were hoping for from Haiti did not arrive in time.

So now, we are continuing to work with our representative in Haiti to get the supporting documentation in the event that they may be needed as the process continues. We hope to have these sooner rather than later, but the civil unrest in Haiti makes the process much slower.

Although we had a deadline to submit paperwork, the US government does not have a set timeline for their response. The last time we submitted documents, it took 2 months to hear back from them, so the timeline is uncertain. 

We ask for continued prayers for our son, that God works through this process for his good. Pray for our patience and trust in God’s providence. Thank you all.
